The side were very good. The fried chicken was brown and crunchy but undercooked inside. Drinks were good and decent priced. I believe because I got there near closing they probably were doing their best to accommodate. I will try again… was highly recommended by many.
Me and my girl were looking for a good soul food place and my god did we find this hidden gem in downtown richmond. This is a must go to! You will regret not going, but hey leaves more for my family to enjoy!
Catfish had a nice crunch without feeling greasy and the mac and cheese was way better than expected. portions were big enough i almost didn’t finish but somehow still kept eating. small dining room so it gets crowded fast, especially weekends, and there was a little wait before getting seated. atmosphere felt relaxed though, people talking loud, laughing, taking their time. nothing fancy about the place but it just works.
