I've been having breakfast here every week for almost 17 years. Obviously I like the place.... It's good diner food. Great service - lots of long time employees and a very involved owner. They've been in business since 1965 so they are doing something right.

I stopped in for a quick bite while on a short trip out of town. The food is decent, service good, coffee is good. I wasn't impressed with the automatic 20% tip though. I generally tip 18-20% anyway, but it shouldn't ever be mandatory. I can see for a large group but I was by myself. Prices could be a little better too ($3 for a cup of regular coffee is a bit much) but it is what it is in today's economy

I waited about 30 minutes for my food. I ordered steak and eggs with peach cobbler to go. My eggs were cold and my steak was lukewarm. My waitress never asked if I needed anything. I had to flag her down to get a coffee refill. I usually tip well but the restaurant took upon themselves to add 20 percent gratuity. I haven’t been here in a while I was looking forward to getting breakfast here and while I was eating the waitress brought me my ticket. I felt rushed. Not a good overall...
