Even though this is a large restaurant, Mekong can get very busy. You're better off for lunch than dinner if you want to get in quickly without a wait. The food is very good, and it's efficiently run; it also has a very large menu of authentic Vietnamese food. Appetizers are full-sized dishes. It's worth the experience.
Restaurant building and interior was ok but Very Over staffed.\n1 extremely bored person at entry to seat you. One of the best Vietnamese restaurants anywhere. We’ve have dined here numerous times in the past but Richmond wasn’t in our travel plans for several years. Yesterday, we had lunch at Mekong and the regret in not living in the area returned. This is simply a great restuarant for two things - the food and the beer. We’ve never failed to have a great meal.
