I really wanted to retain Morsels for our wedding cake order and while Adrianna was very nice and accommodating, unfortunately communication was incredibly slow. I sent an inquiry over email and waited awhile with no response. I decided to try again and finally received a response. After that the follow through was slow and I was getting concerned as to whether I could get everything confirmed just to ease my mind that I have the cake details covered and confirmed. I sent a request on 7/7 asking if I could pick up a tasting plate on 7/16. It's 7/18 and there's been no response. Concerned with the lack of communication and wondering if this was a sign to move on, I reached out to another bakery and they were very communicative. I was able to pick up a tasting plate within a few days of reaching out to them and I finalized a contract this morning. Planning a wedding is a stressful event when dealing with many vendors. Communication is key in gaining trust and confidence.

Our family and friends raved about how delicious the desserts were. They helped us carefully pick a variety of desserts that would accommodate all of our guests. We cannot wait until our one year anniversary so we can dig into our wedding cake again! Morsels will always be special to us, and we would recommend them to anyone!

They provided a cake tasting that was so helpful in determining our flavor choices. We selected Hummingbird, Orange, and Red Velvet. They also provided vanilla and chocolate Gluten Free cupcakes for our gluten sensitive guests. Our guests raved about the cake, the flavors, and how they tried multiple flavors because it was so good. Adrianna and Andrea were fantastic to work with and their customer service is stellar. This gem of a bakery is definitely a Best of RVA business!

Wow… where to begin. We hired Morsels to do our wedding cake and dessert table. We’re not big dessert people but every one of our guests now thinks we have the most amazing taste in desserts because everything was SO GOOD!! Not one piece of dessert was leftover and we ordered like twice as much as we needed! the golden Oreo bars and pignolis were our favorites. We’ve never cared a ton for wedding cake but ours was sooooooo good. Thank you Adrianna, Andrea and Team!!!!

A hidden gem! Such lovely treats at a reasonable price (got 7 diff things for under $30). I would have taken a pic but I ate mine! The river city mud drop and the monster bar were my favorites.
The baker did a great job on the cake. Detailing was astonishing. They were prompt in responding to me via Facebook messenger. Cake was delicious and not too sweet! Highly recommend. I will order from here again!

My husband and I used morsels for the desserts and cake at our October 18th wedding. Our original wedding date was supposed to be May but postponed to October due to COVID. The ladies at Morales we’re positive, communicative and easy to work with throughout all of our changes for our new fall date. They were able to change most of the details in our order for more fall like desserts- like chai snickerdoodle cookies and pumpkin whoopie pies- both of which were a HUGE hit with our guests. There was a bit of miscommunication in our tiered cake flavor but the presentation of the cake was beautiful and exactly what I had been envisioning for our big day! I would recommend shopping local and supporting such a fun loving pair of women- they will make your cake dreams come true!
