Mum’s kitchen had just what I was looking for. That pepper steak, cabbage, rice and peas was hittin! You can’t go to to many Jamaican food restaurants and get that authentic quality food but this place was on point INGL. When there today to order oxtail for our dinner and I was over charge, guys becareful you own Parishine people can Rob you too and I calling to talk to someone Noone pick up the phone, this is why I don't buy food out because there always want to over charge your oxtail was 18.50 and she changed me 21.00 for each dinner So the total was$ 47.88

Ordered a large oxtail, as well as a small. I was given 2 small oxtails orders, but was charged for one small, one large. Any attempt to call the business directly is futile! They never answer the damn phone! Never again. Shady business practices.

As a Jamaican, I value that they actually jerk their chicken. It's my favorite thing from them. My two complaints are that they never pick up when I call, NEVER, and today they substituted 2 items without asking my permission. That's not professional.

Ordered the jerk chicken. There was absolutely no jerk flavor, covered in some kind of sauce. Mostly just was a barbecue chicken. Extra dry. Mac and cheese was good. Fried chicken soggy. Potato salad ok. This place should close and revamp.
Friendly staff, food was amazing! We ordered oxtails and curry chicken with rice and cabbage. The hot sauce paired very well with it.

Amazing food and that's the most important thing, the curry goat and beef patty were delicious. Best I've had in RVA. The setup felt a little chaotic, two TVs blaring different shows, I'd say a take out vs eat in spot but I don't want to sound negative as the food is the star and the ladies running the shop were lovely. Serving size was exceptional, small was two meals for me. Thank you, I'll be back for some jerk chicken next time

Service, atmosphere was good but the food has absolutely no taste whatsoever. Me and my fiancé ordered curry chicken and it tasted like we were eating water. Not even being dramatic. No flavor at all. You have to add your own seasonings. The portion size is good but the flavor is horrible. It’s really sad. I was expecting a flavorful kick or spice but no it was really terrible
