Best Mexican bakery in town. So delicious that takes me back to my hometown.They maintained the original receipe of Mexican bread with only high quality ingredients. They have a high variety of sweet breads and regular bread. I love the addition of some desserts like Jello, flan ,among others.I forgot to mention that they also offer churros and Mexican snacks and candy.
Panaderia El Globo is a great place on the Southside to get pan de muerto and other sweets for Dia de los Muertos! Their pastries are moist, even towards the end of the day, delicious, and fairly priced. They've got a wide selection of pastries, such as the ubiquitous pan de muerto, as well as conos (large custard-filled cones), chombos (kind of like massive cupcakes), and rellenitas (think of like large kolaches with fruit filling). Best bread I've had in MY LIFE, and I'm from the West coast!Spoke to the pastry chief one time and he explained to me how he's from Puebla, Mexico, and I could tell his passion for baking because of the way he explained how he handles the dough to make sure it comes out fluffy.
