Wonderful Spanish store with more food items, condiments, fruits and veggies than I know what to do with. The restaurant has amazing food, the pupusas are to die for, and you can get them for 1$ each on Thursdays! I try to stop by every time I'm in the area.
All I have to say is that there is a guy that makes carne asada tacos outside in a trailer that are to die for! The best I have ever had. He grills whole onions and jalapenos. Also has salsa Verde, pickled onions, cilantro and hot salsa fresh homemade toppings you can choose for your taco. OMG! We ordered 5 then got 3 more after we tried them because we just couldn't resist. If you want great tamales go to the other store on west broad st. a place I think called popular for me because I see every morning people coming to buy, every minute, and the food is very good has many varieties that you can choose what you want, It's like a mini buffet, and you can pay in cash without paying taxes
