the cold appetizer platter, chicken shawarma, and ashta dessert were excellent, good portions for the price. I got a nice beruit pilsner too. the appetizer came with warm fresh baked pita

Wow excellent dinner tonight. The new owners were so gracious and friendly. Everything was wonderful.
The mousaka was so good. Hummus with the fresh bread, yes please. Lamb kabobs, called something else, awesome flavor! Even some very good Lebanese wines.
We had the fig dessert and coffee. Awesome end to the meal.
My wife and I spent a lot of time earlier this year back in Richmond for some urgent family stuff. We'd already eaten at the very good Galley Kitchen a couple times and a friend suggested we try Natalie's for something different. We've eaten there twice now. We went on a quiet night the first time and had a chance to chat with the very friendly new owner. He steered us to a wonderful Lebanese beer to start along with the terrific mezze platter, which comes with very good homemade pita bread. We each ordered the lamb kabob plate which was great; it was so good we ordered it again when we went back a month or so later. We'll go again for sure next time we're in Richmond. I don't know how Natalie's was before the new owner took over, but now it's wonderful. Because of the new ownership, I think you should disregard any reviews before the spring on 2026. And if you're reading this review, you should go eat there, too!

I was really excited for some good Lebanese food! I've known people who have gone here in the past and had a great experience.
The menu had changed a lot from my partner's last experience there. I was disappointed in the quality and options of the food.
We were told that they put milk in their pita so we got the vegan/gluten free pita option. This option was very disappointing because it had the texture and taste of an uncooked tortilla. It didn't hold up for the wrap we ordered either and mostly fell apart. Plus it was an expensive up charge for the amount of bread we received and it's quality.
The food was expensive for the portions and quality. I got the moussaka but the majority of the bowl was rice instead of moussaka. The one thing on the menu I did really enjoy was the dolmas which were in a citrusy balsamic vinegar like marinade.

Some friends and I tried this place at for lunch. The atmosphere was wonderful and I was impressed with the extensive gluten free options on the menu. The food was delicious! The owner/manager was very attentive and made us feel special. I will definitely go back.

We have continued to come to Natalie's as it is the best Lebanese food on Richmond. It is recently under new ownership and somehow the food has gotten better. Highly recommend for the best and most authentic Lebanese food in Richmond!

The dishes is authentic and also creative, but most importantly, everything is made with love and the owners are the sweetest people who do this with so much passion.
I would 10000% recommend it as the best Lebanese/Mediterranean restaurant in Richmond VA.

We came here for takeout and it was lovely! The beet salad was delicious, so fresh and citrusy. The cauliflower was spiced perfectly. We liked the moussaka, excellent flavor (though not exactly a traditional layered dish). Could skip the falafel, it was a little on the dry side. The schwarma and merguez were both good, make sure to ask for extra garlic sauce!!! Itโs delicious!!! Highly recommend to anyone in the area!

I didn't have any complaints! My family and I had a great time here. The menu offers a great variety, my vegetarian husband could eat there. I had the tishook platter which was nice. Zaatar chips (fries) were awesome. The staff were really friendly. Short staffed even on Mother's Day, but nothing to fault then for. I loved the food and the staff were great. Some previous reviews complained about the price; however, it's not a chip shop, it's a sit down place. I'll be coming back for the Knafe!
