Best olive oil cake I’ve ever had!! I live in Oregon but make sure I get the cake every time I’m back visiting family, it’s THAT good. Can’t wait to try more baked goods from here.
I recently stopped by Pies and Cakes in Richmond, and it’s a charming little bakery that really impressed me. The shop is small and cozy, but the desserts are packed with flavor. They offer a rotating selection of pies, cakes, cookies, and cupcakes, so there’s usually something new to try each time you visit.
I tried one of their cupcakes, and it was incredibly soft with rich, balanced frosting. Everything tasted fresh and homemade rather than overly sweet....

The owner is probably one of the nicest persons in the carver neighborhood. I love their cookies and cupcakes. But if you really want to be blown away you need to try their pizza. It’s pre order only but this pizza is worth it. They have some of the best dough and I think their pizza is the definition of “Richmond Cute” a must try for pizza lovers.
