Portico restaurant is beautiful and relaxing placeintime. It's like you step out of time and into a place that strokes all of your senses. The interior envelopes you like a warm hug ,encouraging you to sit and stay a while. Not to exclude the exterior dining area. You may not want to leave ,it too has it's own atmosphere of being transported to another place and time. As for the food, I have to say chef's kiss to everything on the menu. Fantastic. Food was excellent. Service from Kayla was amazing. Didn't have a reservation for a party of 8 but they were able to accommodate all of us. All of the food was amazing from the apps to the entrees. Will absolutely come back.
I've enjoyed this restaurant in the past and have had positive experiences. Yesterday's lunch was, at best, marginal. My salad special with chicken salad was just okay. The amount of chicken salad was laughable for a cost of $22. My friend order the BLT and the sandwich has one small tomato. It was as if they made it in a rush.
