Pupatella delivers solid Neapolitan-style pies with a lighter bake, which means the crust can steam in the box on the ride home and lose some snap. It doesn't travel especially well, but it wakes up beautifully with a quick revive in a 350°F oven once you're back. Toppings are generous and well chosen, the marinara is bright and balanced, and the mozzarella reads clean and milky rather than rubbery. The margarita pizza is my favorite! I always order this to go whenever I’m in Richmond so today was my first time eating inside. Our server Shelby was very friendly and food was fast.
Normally when people see everything rated 5 stars, they think it might be fishy or not a legit review. We were on hour way to NC and stopped by for Pizza. Our needs were fulfilled very carefully by the team. Nico had really paid attention to our order and served us well. Will definitely recommend.
