Fantastic pupusas. I lived in MD for a while with several friends from El Salvador. This restaurant has authentic, yummy pupusas. Place was super busy when I picked up my takeout order, yet food was ready fast! Also had the chips and guacamole which was homemade and yummy!

I can’t think of anywhere in RVA where you can achieve this level of tasty/healthy/cheap all in one meal. For me specifically that’s bean and cheese pupusas with lots of curtido, but everything else I’ve tried has been really good too! They have the best beans and rice in town and it’s not close. Every time my family visits from out of town they insist on getting take out here.

I eat here once in a while and they are usually really good. But baby, let me tell you…something about tonight’s meal carried me to the stars! Now, I normally just order a burrito or tacos and pupusas , but I wanted to try one of their soups.
