Ray's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard

I've been before, but guess I forgot to review or it's just been a while! If u are nearby, just go!! It's great!!! Butterscotch shake and strawberry 🍓 dessert 🍨 were mind-blowingly good!!

Coming from Jersey I found this to be the first authentic Italian water ice in the area it’s exactly what I grew up on as is the custard based ice cream that my grandmother used to make they have great choices in flavors service is speedy and taste is great I’m glad to see they are still expanding and doing well Thanks for a taste of home

Outdoor, local ice cream shop located in the Food Lion shopping strip. Has the best ice cream, sundaes, and custard around. There is some limited outdoor seating and benches on the sidewalk. Free pup cups for your fur-babies. 🐾 Closes in the winter.

Parking: Plenty of parking.

Kid-friendliness: It is ice cream! Of course, bring the kids! Fair warning: Located in a parking lot, and next to Church Road, so you cannot let littles run free. However, if you are lucky, your kid might get to see the fire truck leave the station across the street.

I have been getting custard from Ray's since they were at their original location. My family loves their custard and ice. I have moved out of state and had to come to Ray's while visiting Short Pump.
