The water Ice was delish. Tasted Fresh and not syrupy. It also didn't melt fast. Was able to sit and enjoy. Recommend especially on a warm October day!

Was denied service because my husband told them I have an airborne allergy to peanuts only. We’ve eaten there hundreds of times before it was never a problem. I understand safety pro cautions but this was absurd we are regular customers. Discrimination & lack of knowledge of what airborne really means….

We ordered ice cream and custard..both were good. There is only a take out window, there is no studs front. The dip on their chocolate dip is really tasty.

Ray's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard is one of my favorite ice cream places here in Virginia. There are many flavors and toppings to choose from. The ice cream is tasty and the texture of the custard is buttery soft. In addition, the staff is friendly and quick. It’s important to note the seating is restricted to outside, and there aren’t many seats available. I usually eat my ice cream in the car or take it home. I definitely recommend Ray's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard as it’s delicious!

Definitely worth the drive. Ray's custard is equivalent to Carl's in Fredericksburg and has the best Italian ice (yes, better than Rita's). Will definitely a repeat customer.

So good! After developing a dairy allergy a few years ago I stopped going, since I couldn't enjoy my favorite treat. Glad to see they finally got dairy free ice-cream!

Great local ice cream shop. Scoops are very generous in size. The hand scooped ice cream is rich and creamy.Best part, they DO NOT try to tip guilt you when you pay by card by flipping the screen.

I saw a promotion for the strawberry sundae in the window and ordered a medium thinking that it would have more of the overflowing fruit. I was disappointed to discover my sundae had perhaps the equivalent of two strawberries and a lot more custard. Fortunately I chose strawberry custard and did get some strawberry flavor. My advice is to skip the seasonal promotion and just order a flavored custard.
