River City Eatery

The worst establishment to ever visit the gas pumps never work. The customers are rude and barely speak English and the on the owners keep that place horrible worst experience by far.

They definitely do not cook here anymore. The most they will have is wings that’s been sitting there all morning & they will over charge you. I hate this store I have to calculate how much I’m about to spend before I hand it to the register because they like to add on miscellaneous prices. 2 out of the 4 pumps don’t work & it’s always panhandler’s outside of the store harassing customers.

Parking: Entire parking lot filled with pot holes

This was recommended to us by family members and we were thoroughly disappointed. First the good, the atmosphere is great, so many vintage and nostalgic items to look at, it was great. The server was good, fast and friendly. The biscuits we were served were absolutely fresh and delicious. Unfortunately, each plate that had breakfast potatoes also came with potatoes on top that were burned to a crisp, I just don't get it. Tuck it under or how about not serving that at all, why would you put that on a plate? The egg omelets were greasy and browned in tone although I did appreciate the fresh spinach in mine, the pancake was just ok as was the sausage and some sort of pre-cooked bacon product, whats with this over easy egg? Was this made on the moon, hence the craters? Your using too much oil guys, trust me. I know it's just a diner but come on guys, don't serve this....see pictures

It's been 12 years since we last ate here. Going back was a test to see if our memory was still accurate. The decor hasn't changed and why should it. Lulu went with the French Toast (excellent) and I had a Cheese Steak Sandwich with Onion Rings (excellent). The music was perfect for the setting and not to loud. The waiter was friendly and the place was clean. Plenty of parking. Hope it's not another 12 years before we return.

Cute place, excellent service and wide range of food at reasonable prices. You can buy a t-shirt and every time you go back you can get 10% off your bill.

Just witnessed a manager tell a customer who happened to be a mother with her son, that if they don't like the customer service they didn't need to eat here. First problem was the guy looked like a kitchen worker versus a manager. Second, if you're supposed to be a manager then why escalate the situation versus deescalate? I could talk about the food but the troubling thing was the tone and him doing so in front of a young child. I will never eat here again. I can deal with bad food, but bad management is intolerable.

Fun decor, professional staff, great food at reasonable price. The portions are huge! There is seating indoor & outside.

Just came back from eating there and got the sausage gravy plus. The gravy was completely expired and tasted sour. The only good thing that came from eating here was the refund we got once we left.

I had and recommend the crab cake and eggs. Plenty of both and with grits, it made a wonderful meal. The service was excellent, the restaurant clean and furnishings looked clean, warm and welcoming. Haven't been to this restaurant in at least 15 years so going on memory, I'd say they lost nothing and that's not always easy. This makes a good stop for breakfast anytime.

Staying in the area and stopped in for a late breakfast. Jukebox-themed diner with large booths and music playing from the 50's and 60's.

It was a beautiful day and we were on the south-side at noon. We sat outside to enjoy the weather and both of us chose items off of the breakfast menu. It was our first time to eat at the River City Diner and our food was very good. Their menu had numerous other items that looked great and we plan to return to try some of them. The service prompt and very good. Thank you River City Diner for one of the most enjoyable meals we have had for some time.

I went to lunch with 2 girlfriends and we all enjoyed our meal very much! I had a delicious burger and cup of roasted red pepper crab soup! One of my friends had a bowl of the crab soup and the other loved her chili! Can't wait to come back. We ate outside and felt very safe...service was fantastic!

Food here is amazingly delicious That’s all I can say

Amazing food must try it out especially the gyro over rice with the famous white sauce it’s fresh and juicy and all orders are cooked fresh to order!!!!good decent prices

My first time there today.... tried the chicken and lamb over rice and it was amazing... food and prices are amazing I recommend this place
