Being new, I was able to describe the flavor pallets of interest and taste try the sauces. I ordered the El Jefe, was able to substitute pita chips for sweet potatoes and then add multiple diverse sauces with notes of sweet and comfort. Then the bowl was mixed for me. I absolutely loved this meal and the care provided from the staff. This restaurant must sustain 💕
The food is still good, but sadly the portions have been getting smaller and smaller over the years. It seems like they are now serving the bowls in what used to be the kids size. This is a big reason I’ve been going to sweet green much more frequently lately and essentially only go to roots if sweet green is closed.
The food is always on 100! Flavor, portions, and yumminess... Located on a college campus, so I think they think it is ok for it to look dingy and dirty on the inside... Not a vibe but def. an amazing food experience.
