My favorite restaurant, not just my favorite ice cream spot. Ruby is a culinary genius. Her flavors are just so creative, unique, and delicious. Lots of really delicious vegan and gluten free flavors. I tell everyone I know you have to try it.
I went in with both of my sons, the ice-cream is amazing.. the only con I have is there were only a few people in line after me, they got their ice-cream before me and I waited 11 minutes just to get my ice-cream, I think that was kinda insane but I love supporting they have to move a tad bit faster. The ice cream was amazing... side note, the young lady working the register should be trained on the venue items she was confused. I recommend 10/10 went to work and told my coworkers they must try the icecream.
My wife and I love it here! the owner is always so nice and inviting.
Good ice cream! Loved the red velvet ice cream!
Vegan ice cream flavors: Cake batter with vegan sprinkles, Cookie butter, and butter pecan. Sorbets include: lemon berry, mango, and guava daiquiri. We had cake batter and butter pecan. Both were deliciously creamy. Yum!
Imagine you took the nostalgia and the excitement of waking up early to watch Saturday morning cartoons and the joy of eating cinnamon toast crunch with too much milk. That is the Cinnamon Roll shake at Ruby Scoops. Come here and make new memories in a beautiful atmosphere with way too good ice cream.
Visited for the first time today! Had the Ube Cookies & Cream and Butter Brickle. Unbelievably delicious! Can't wait to come back and try more.
Celebrated National Ice Cream Day with the RVA Chapter of Mocha Moms, Inc. at Ruby Scoops new location. It was my first time and now I understand why there's always a line outside and around the corner. Loved the vibe, decor, multiple vegan options, and unique ice cream flavors 😋 Ms. Ruby herself greeted every guest seated with her welcoming smile 😃
Ruby Scoops hands down is the best ice cream in Richmond. They have both exotic, exciting flavors and less daring options, and they’re all delicious! Also a great place for vegan options! We’ve gotten gift cards for my vegan SIL several times and she LOVES it. The staff and owners are kind and welcoming and inclusive, even when I’m undecided or placing a huge order. The review authors that say the owners are rude should probably do some self-reflection. And the “ghetto” review author should get out more. Just sayin. 11/10 recommend Ruby Scoops!!
Best ice cream in Richmond. Definitely Butter Brickle! Glad to see a successful and Richmond based business on Brookland Park Boulevard. Great for families

Not that good. The vegan options are downright bad, coconut milk based so extremely low quality. Then there's the issue of the owner, who's just obnoxiously rude to her neighbors. If this were the only ice cream available, I'd never have it again and not miss it. Then there's her wildly high prices.
I wish I could give it zero stars.
The owner is rude as hell. He has no respect for the people in her surroundings. Her ice cream is nothing to speak of except that it's overpriced. Rude rude rude lady!!!
They're never open. I've tried to go about 7 different times and they've only been open once. Not worth the effort.
One of the best businesses on Brooklyn Park Blvd
The miso caramel on a sundae is salty goodness
