We went here because we felt like we wanted Hibachi so we came here as it had pretty good reviews then other places. The waiter sat us and we patiently waited 20 minutes just to get water. We ordered Edamame and Spring Rolls that we never got but still got charged for. It had already been 40 minutes when our chef started doing tricks. Rice was super greasy, I ordered Hibachi Chicken and it was super salty. If you want Japanese in Richmond, don’t come here.

My boyfriend and I were looking forward to our hibachi and sushi date. I'm sorry this is a long detailed post, but we both grew up working in restaurants as servers and managers and we just could not understand why the service was so bad, the servers stood about 10 feet from us and stared with a scowl while we were eating, and it felt like harassment from the servers throughout the evening. We have eaten at this restaurant many times and noticed the decline in cleanliness of the restaurant. I have to order Gluten Free so my food is prepared in the back instead of on the hibachi. I ordered Filet with double rice which I ate with chop sticks. Half-way through the food I found a long hair.
