We absolutely love this place! We found it a few months ago and have been 6 times so far. Sadly the past 2x we’ve been we have had an unpleasant experience due to being served cold or reheated fries. The truffle fries and reg fries here are SOO FREAKIN GOOD that you would understand why it completely ruined our experience. We had our perfect sandwiches in front of us just to be tasked with the awkward moment of sending half the food back. So while we waited 6-7 mins for fresh...
Daughter and I just wanted a quick salad and fries, so this was the perfect spot around the corner from our hotel. There were no vegan options so I needed to have the kale salad Modified a little, things taken off it… And was charged for substitutions like tomato, onion, even switching out the dressing type incurred a small extra charge… other than that, very happy with our food, and the service was very friendly! Cozy lighting, relaxed vibe.
We had the fried Chicken sandwich selections the Hoover and the Lafayette. The breading isn't what I would expect from a specialty sandwich shop. Not crispy enough. The pickles are.... Idk... they're sweet with a sour finish. Not my favorite. Well try again and sample a couple other selections.
