I like the fact that it wasn't busy here on a Saturday evening. The hostess was nice. But when it came to the food, I got to a point that I just kinda got grossed out and had to leave.
This place restored our faith in Shoney's. After having horrible treatment at other locations over the years (not even being waited on), everything was top notch. Fast and friendly service, tons of buffet and menu options, and good prices. We even had a kind customer before us who paid for our meal and others after us. What a great way to start the day!
I've been coming off and on throughout the years. It was built in 1981. I was fourteen then. I'm now almost sixty.
The place has always been a place I like to eat. Many memories. I remember the Shoneys Big Boy statue before the controversy that made the corporate decision to remove them from all Shoneys locations. Shame.
