A 'slice' of heaven in Richmond, indeed.Shyndigz is so many things: consistent, delightful, generous, and above all, so sweet. A slice of any cake from here is more than enough to share with others - massive portions of wonderful desserts.We've treated out-of-towners to their slices, and our family favorite has always been their fresh fruit cake. It's not a "fruitcake" by traditional holiday standards, but rather a moist white cake with a luscious cream cheese frosting, layered with juicy, ripe berries and fruits. You cannot go wrong with this one, especially served super cold.While everything here is always a treat, another standout star is their homemade oatmeal cream pies. Unreal. Unlike anything you've had, forget what you know; Little Debbie it is not. Also large enough to share. Highly doubtful you could finish anything they serve in one sitting, truly. You wouldn't want to anyway, even if you could - the key here is savoring.It's obvious they use high-quality ingredients, value their customers, and are backed by creative minds. Only the best desserts in Richmond! I have been visiting Shyndigz since it’s inception on Patterson Ave and they remain consistent, friendly and innovative. Never stop making key lime pie because it’s the best pie EVER and I’d go into serious withdrawal. Best desserts in the world!!!

GlutenFree chocolate / raspberries cake was GREAT !!! Best ever after many years and many bakeries........for my daughter's 50th .....she has celiac and often bakeries who suggest their products are gluten free don't really know what is involved with cross contamination....Shyndigz knows ..... Expensive but comparable to other Gluten free bakers in town....all the guests who tried it...that didn't need gluten-free loved it too !

This place is awesome. Such a cute store with alot of neat things to look at buy. the cakes and cookies are to die for. while I was in town I made a few trips . the cookies were amazing and the cakes were just as good.

Shyndigz by far makes the most incredible gluten free cake that I could imagine! It is so moist, flavorful, and delicious; I honestly couldn't believe it was gluten free when I took the first bite. I have tried several different flavors since trip to Shyndigz and each one has been a delight. I highly recommend them to anybody looking for a good gluten free dessert (or any dessert for that matter). The inside of the store is very cute, and they have a shop with some knick-knacks and local goods (like peanuts, honey, etc.). You might have to wait in a line, but that's just another confirmation of how great their cake really is.

I have been a customer for the past few years and recently ordered a whole cake to go for the first time. It was great however, when i went home to share it for a birthday, I had noticed an ant on the side of the cake. As well as a small flying bug on the top of the cake with other specks of things on top. I have enjoyed the cakes these past few years but was disappointed that this happened when ordering a whole cake.
These treats are utter insanity. What a glorious little establishment. Enchanting atmosphere too. If you are at all out of practice with sugar you'll have about 6-8 servings per item so don't mind the prices. These treats are all richly delectable and worth every penny. I loved the oatmeal cream pie and salted caramel chocolate cake. I need to go to the actual restaurant next door one night to experience everything at the designed temperatures to know for sure what I'm supposed to be doing at home. Yet another place I'll be bringing every visitor. This city is just delightful and places like this are a big part of the magic.

I don't particularly eat dessert, so when I walked into Shyndigz 2go & Market and got the confetti cake, I thought this would be just a regular store bought tasting cake, but as you can see by that rating, I was wrong. When I put the fork topped with a small taste of cake in my mouth it was like my taste buds were having a party ?. There is literally no other way to explain it. The Market was pretty crowded as the building isn't very big, but don't expect to be waiting very long. The service is great and fast. Not only are there many different types of desserts, there are also anitques within the Market. Long story short... COME HERE!

Shyndigz is amazing. Their creations are absolutely delicious and the market and stairwell area are a creative experience in and of themselves. Their atmosphere is extremely calm and casual and a wonderful experience. Fortunately we were able to catch the with no crowd las things do get a bit tight on the weekends but still worth the effort and still with the price (*I threw that in there because you will definitely notice the price). I've recommended Shyndigz on numerous occasions from their humble beginnings located way up town back at their Libbie location all the way to today when I enjoyed everything as much as the first time I ever visited. Technically I'm only reviewing the market but know the catering side of the company is also 100%. I hope they never change or wain in their dedication to quality.
