Easily the best ice cream in Richmond. I love the interesting flavor combos create, the Halloween black sesame candy corn was a favorite. Impressively good vegan ice cream too that despite being a coconut base, doesn't taste overly coconutty. Plus if you get a chance enter there on I think Friday or the weekend definitely try a creamy (aka soft serve), I have no idea how they make it so good.
The Spotty Dog delivers seriously good ice cream. Extremely friendly staff, dog-friendly atmosphere, and everything was really nice and clean. The ice cream itself was soft, rich, and not overly sweet, just right. Definitely worth a stop.
The ice cream here is experimental, playful, and exactly what you want from an ice cream shop pushing boundaries right now. I genuinely hope this place stays open for a very long time.
