My wife and I had reservations for date night. We were seated right away in the Showroom at a beautiful custom table with very nice, comfortable chairs. All the staff were super helpful and nice. Joshua was our server, and he is amazing! David kept stopping by as well to check on us and refill our drinks. It was a joy to talk with them both. The cocktails were great. My wife had the Pink Passerby, and I had the RVA Kaffepunch. Both were very tasty and packed a good punch. For our starter, we had the Housemade Bread and Butter. It was delicious! For our mains, we had the Smoke in Chimneys Trout and the Chicken. My trout was crispy and flavorful, some of the best I have ever had! The Chicken took my wife back to when her grandma would cook the holiday meals. It was super moist and seasoned perfectly. The cranberry sauce and stuffing were on another level. For dessert, we both ordered the Eplekake. A nicely warmed apple cake with brandied caramel and oat streusel that gave it a lovely crunch. So, so good! A side note, one Eplekake is plenty for two people. Every dish was on an elevated level with layers of flavor. Another nice thing is that they have their own parking lot, so you don't have to find parking on the street or pay for parking. We had a great time, and we will definitely be back! We are excited to try the Hanger Steak and Fårikål. Recommend 10 out of 10.

Stock was a great experience. It is such a cool concept to have a restaurant in a furniture showroom! They also have a nice Nordic inspired dinning room if you want a more intimate setting. The food was delicious and the drinks were good as well! I got their spin on the espresso martini and it was the right level on sweet to go with dinner. We started with the fried Gouda and then had the duck and both were as delicious as the next!

Went to this new restaurant down in Manchester, Really cool vibe and great service. The food was a bit different. I wont say it was bad since it definitely was all fresh and seasoned well. Just was a bit different than I was expecting. I think they could do better at explaining things with menu descriptions but other than that It was a greet experience, definitely something to check out especially if you are tired of the same style of food around Richmond.

What a delightful evening! Such a cool vibe and handsome historic building. Staff attentive, fun and welcoming to us. All knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the menu both bar and main. The food was precisely prepared with care and balance. Flavors and textures well done on all of the items we enjoyed. We will be back!

The food, service and ambience were all terrific. Our waiter, Joshua, was very attentive and personable. Two of us had the trout, which was perfectly prepared. I seldom eat the skin on a fish, but this skin was so crispy and well-seasoned, I ate every bite! The other two folks in our party had the schnitzel and a steak, respectively. Both said that their meals were delicious. As a starter, we shared an order of fried smelt. It was a great way to start the meal with our specialty cocktails. Stock Bistro and Bar is a great addition to Manchester. Ask for seating on the showroom floor. It is like eating a fine meal catered in your own home.

Unique concept with a menu that delivers! We enjoyed a Lavender Fields cocktail that was very refreshing and well balanced. We shared the Wedge Salad and each ordered Schnitzel which were both really nice. Highly recommend!

We were really blown away by how great this place is! It easily keeps up with our short list of best Richmond restaurants (Grisette, Lo'Possum) with fantastic dishes and excellent service from Joshua. The stock board was one of the most fun dishes I'd had in a while, different Nordic meats cheeses and pickled things is a must order. They also have three very high quality alcohol free cocktails which is really nice. Highly recommend!
Stock's concept is fun open & simple. The location is a Repurposed “station” building on 14th Street in vibrant rejuvenated Manchester. The menu is unique & the food tasty though not as Danish or Scandinavian as anticipated..

This was such a unique experience! We dined in the showroom surrounded by all the beautiful furniture and textiles! Food was amazing and delicious! The service was top notch! A MUST for your next dinner out with friends! They even handed me a birthday card hand signed by all the staff! An added special touch!

Finally, New Nordic cuisine in Richmond! Amazing experience dining in the showroom, trying out couches in between courses, haha. Such a unique concept that really works and makes for a memorable experience. Joshua was fantastic guiding us through the menu and bringing positive vibes all evening! And the food was amazing. Proper fine dining is kinda rare in Richmond, so I’m always stoked when a new place opens that hits such high culinary marks.
