The food is absoLUTELY amazing! The expected stuff, yeah, but the mac and cheese is legit! Don't sleep on this place, people. First-timer and I ordered the combo plate (counting on love love at first bite) with pepper steak, jerk chicken, yellow rice, fried cabbage, and the most impressing piece, mac and cheese. You know how commercial mac and cheese tastes just that- bland, boxed, no love in its creation, mass produced and...commercial? Not this, Honies. BayBAY! This truly tastes homemade and made with love. Can't wait to make my next order...which will definitely include the mac and cheese ?Thank you, Sunriver Caribbean Cuisine for giving my palate a wonderful to RVA!!

Very good food! I was a little skeptical but the food is amazing. Just the right amount of spice. The only down side is packaging. I feel like they could use better containers. But again the food is good and you won’t be disappointed.

Ordered delivery from this ghost kitchen from two places which is so cool! So that you can order very different things in one order without extra charges. I ordered a rice dish from Auntie Ning and the jerked wings from Sunrise. The meat fell off the bone as soon you poked it with a fork! It's very well seasoned. I added a tone of white rice to the dish and it's still very flavorful. The only thing is it should come with a warning sign for weaklings like me who can't handle the heat LOL.

I seriously would love to come in and meet the chef… I’ve tried all but 3 things on the menu and still going.. the oxtails will definitely gonna be the last thing I order because I haven’t came across ANY restaurants yet out here that can make them properly ??.. I’m extremely satisfied with EVERYTHING I’ve tried so far.. ???Update…I finally got to the end of the menu and I can say… I wasn’t disappointed at all… those oxtails were exactly what I expected them to be… however the oil in my small serving was a bit tooooo much nevertheless 10/10 I recommend !!!

This is now my second visit to the store. First time as a dasher and second time as a customer. Both times I was made to wait for over 10mins for my orders despite the apps saying its ready for pickup. That's not a way of doing business especially if you choose to use an app like DoorDash or Grubhub. What need to happen is someone needs to get in contact with those reps and have them adjust your times. Wasting my time is definitely not earning my business. Do better! Smh

Omg!! This place really surprised me! I got my food & everything was sooo flavorful. I got the large jerk chicken with rice/beans, fried cabbage, & Mac & Cheese. With a Jamaican Pineapple Soda. I came across this place on Uber Eats and the prices are good. 10/10 definitely a must try

Ordered the large jerk chicken (yummy! nice portion size), small oxtail (surprisingly decent sized) both with yellow rice and fried cabbage (very very nice!). I'd give 5 stars but the beef patty (which I was really looking forward to) was slightly underwhelming...will try reheat it in the air fryer tomorrow to see if my opinion changes.But I plan on ordering often!
