Got the dunk and the fluffy. It was my much needed fatty, salty, comforting goodness. Also got the salsa trio and Jack stayed on top of my water refills because I couldn’t put down the roja 🌶 I contemplated getting a third taco but it’s for the best that I didn’t. They would’ve had to roll me out of there. I will be back

Got to say the margs are SO GOOD. Servers were nice but a little confused, asked for a spot in the shade as it was empty and they sat us in the sun, then accidentally brought us a wrong order and picked it up and gave it to another table for free after putting it in our table 🥲 sigh. Will go back though.

TBT El Gallo has some of the best food in RVA. The birria tacos will blow your mind. Their chicken tinga tacos with bacon jam are out of this world. I also love the al pastor. Grab those 3 tacos and a Jarritos on weeknight for an easy meal or if you're in the neighborhood, hang out on their patio! My favorite spot in the whole world (so far) for tacos!

2026 update: had another great meal at TBT El Gallo! They have updated the menu since we were last in....
