We've always enjoyed the food at this restaurant and the Cary Town atmosphere. Enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant itself However, during COVID they erected several tables in the middle of the floor that were were for pick-up services such as Uber-Eats and Grubb-Hubb to come collect to go food. That made perfect sense then...but the tables are still in the middle of the floor (can't be used by diners) with signs on them identifying which table is for which pick-up service. As a result the restaurant doesn't feel like a restaurant any more. It feels like a take out place. Sorry, we're not going to travel into town for a take-out place.

Well enjoyed. The atmosphere was really nice. I’ve been coming here for 2 years now. It is my to go Thai food. Something about it just gets you going. Nitnoy our waitress was really nice as well. Very polite. If you see this your very cute. ?

Overall we had a great experience, our waiter was able to suggest a dish for me when I was struggling to explain what I wanted. Food was great, “best Pad See Ew I’ve ever had” my mother said! We went on a pretty slow day, so our food came pretty quickly. My only criticism is that the portions were small, so no takeaway for us.

Absolutely amazing! The staff is exceptional and the food is phenomenal! Highly recommend this place! They have the best Thai tea

Hands down the best Thai food ever! The waiter and service was phenomenal. Highly recommend!

Quiet ambience. Mussels were okay, sauce was not. Fried dumplings were delicious but serving was small. Shrimp and beef red curry with rice was yummy.

We went there for lunch and the food was good as well as the service. The portion size is on the smaller side though. It’s pretty much on par with many other Thai restaurants I’ve had all over the states.

I haven't been here in a long time - I decided to visit again .I had COVID back in September, and it's made my taste super off when it comes to certain things. I ordered the pad Thai , and I was super looking forward to it. Once it came out everything looked as it was supposed to. Except, once I tasted it , it tasted like that odd/off taste I mentioned earlier.I was super disappointed because I could not finish or even start my meal. My waiter traded out my meal for something else on the house and it meant the WORLD to me. I would've paid for the meal either way , it showed me genuine care that they switched it out for me instead of charging me for the pad Thai.Thank you - I will be revisiting ❤️

Food and service have gone downhill exponentially here. This was my go to Thai spot.Have been 3 times in the last 3 months and everything is mediocre in flavor & staff is RUDE. Business does not feel appreciated whatsoever. And they act very, very entitled.I had a nice server for the first time last night so I wasn’t going to leave a review about the mediocre food but literally just got cussed at on the phone by the old lady Jai/Jay who had an attitude behind the bar all night & was loud and obnoxious. Good customer service is paramount in this industry yall.

Food was hot but order was wrong. The veggie pad see ew had nothing in it but broccoli when I asked for extra onions. Disappointed.

I rarely give out 5 star reviews but there’s nothing wrong with this places food! Everything is sooo delicious! I especially love the fried dumplings, spring rolls, Thai iced tea and red curry fried rice. The service is fast and friendly. My only small complaint is the bathrooms are a little sketchy…but ya know…wait to use the bathroom somewhere else lol.

There are three Thai Restaurants in Carytown. We have eaten at the two higher ranked ones. Tonight those were very busy, so we ate at our untried one. I ordered #44 Gang Dang mild with squid and additional vegetables. It was ok. My wife ordered #28 Pad Khing mild with chicken. It was ok. The Thai Iced Tea was the best part of the meal. At 6:30 pm on a Friday evening, the restaurant was not busy or noisy, a plus. Under TripAdvisor, Thai Diner Too is the third ranked Thai in Carytown. We feel it is a close second.

It was so tasty! And there wasn't a long wait or anything of that sort at all. I found it to be quite authentic. At the moment, I've found it to be the best Thai restaurant I've gone too in Richmond. Plus, those host was nice.

Best Thai in RVA. No doubt about it. It's my go to place when it comes to Thai food in the area.
