Disappointed in this place, ive been three times to give it a fair shot but the food is overpriced for what it is - paid $18 for a chicken sandwich which was cold and fries that were soggy. The food is sub-par, plenty of other Richmond establishments with better food.

What a cool establishment worth visiting, and revisiting. Several different options are available, and from what I hear others come and go frequently. Fat Kid Sandwiches has a decent Philly. Good price, good flavor, and different size options. The atmosphere was a relaxing vibe. Bar in the center for adult beverages and outdoor seating areas when the weather cooperates.

If you have money to throw away this place is for you. WOW 6inc chicken sandwich they put once piece of a steakem slap on the grill and each topping is one dollar. You heard that want tomato? $1 extra. $17 for a 6inc chicken sandwich in Richmond. I will never return. I guess they find themselves trying to be fancy with the new builds in the area.

Just visited Hatch Local for the first time a few weeks ago and we were beyond excited to see that TBT Gallito was a second location for TBT El Gallo. We all ended up ordering our own street-style fries out of excitement, and I ended up eating leftover potatoes for the next 48 hours.We'll definitely be back to try the other food options because the space is incredibly inviting: super open concept, huge glass windows letting in natural light, bright wooden furniture and steel fixtures. The staff brought waters to our table while we were waiting for our order. Perfect option for a group that wants to eat together but might not be on the same page for cuisine!

Really cool space. There are two locations right next to each other with different vendors. I got the chicken sammies from Buttermilk&Honey. WOW!!!!!! the gogo DC was SUPER juicy and I hate dry chicken. Cool place to hang with friends. Can't really speak on the service as you just order your food then pick it up.

Hatch Local is a really great concept and an awesome addition to the Manchester neighborhood. I've been several times in the past month or so, and have been able to try food and drinks from a few of the different vendors so far. It's nice too that they offer bar and table service; that makes it so much easier to order from different spots without having to wait at each one.I've ordered from Fat Kid Sandwiches, The Beet Box, Smashed (several times, loooove them!), and from the bar menu thus far. I have opinions on each, but I'll leave those for their individual Yelp pages.One thing I will say is to ask your bartender or server to see the breakdown of your bill before you pay. The way it was presented to me each time recently, I have just seen the total, added a tip, and then had the option of how I wanted to receive a copy of it. I was overcharged by $7 at the bar, which I didn't realize until after the fact. The bartender had been very chatty and friendly with us and had given my friend a free drink, but I guess it just came out of mine instead. I had tipped extra on it too because he was so nice, so I felt semi-irritated but not enough to ask for it to be fixed.I've also been here twice with a group called Social Club, and the servers who helped us with our large party were great each time. Definitely on top of their game with so many orders to juggle. Props to them!Their bathrooms are clean as well, if that matters to you as much as it does for me.I also love that Benchtop is right next door for some good beers!

I'm obsessed with Hatch Local! Not only is it a convenient location, right at the heart of Manchester and close to Downtown Richmond but it is full of great dining options as well as a bar & coffee bar. It's a perfect location for a night out with friends or family.Their vendors include Fat Kid Sandwiches, Greek in Cary, Buttermilk & Honey for delicious fried chicken, The Royal Pig for Cambodian cuisine, TBT Gallito for tacos, and The Beet Box for healthy, nutritious food. My personal go-to order is the Tofu Rice Bowl from the Royal Pig. The vegetables and rice are so fresh and the tofu's sweet & spicy marinade is perfection.All of the vendors at Hatch offer pick up options, which is very convenient. There are plenty of high tops and tables inside for dining in. I would recommend either taking an Uber or carpooling here. There are few street parking options and only one parking garage and the weekend gets packed quickly. However, I definitely think you should do everything you can to come and try any of the delicious foods at Hatch Local.
This is a great idea of including a diversity of food stalls and providing a chill environment. The cooks and wait staff were all very nice and helpful. It's a hidden gem in downtown Southside Richmond. Will definitely go back, especially for the shrimp chips and fresh pressed juice!

We are obsessed with this food hall. The Cambodian fried rice is spicy savory goodness. Then with burgers and chicken spots , the variety is always amazing. We are also jazzed that tbt is now here so we can feed our needs. The service is a bit odd. We've seen like 5 diff styles of ordering and not sure any work seemless, but ordering at the bar is easiest. I'm also a big fan of the beetbox!

My husband and I went to Hatch for a date night. There was a lot of options to choose from and each restaurant made it easy to order. I had a fried chicken sandwich which was delicious. I also had some ice cream. We were able to sit outside on a nice night and it wasn't too crowded. My only complaint is that the bar service was not good. We walked up and waited about 10 minutes for someone to even look at us. The bartender just kept making drinks for people at the bar who had already had one drink and other guests that ordered in another way we didn't know about.

The food the service all so amazing. The atmosphere is chill and crispy. Very clean, open and plenty of seating options. My 1st time coming my server was Ester! Ester was beyond wonderful. This made such an impression on me that I HAD to return. My 2nd visit wasn't the same....it was better! I would definitely come back. The food varieties are awesome. The quality of the food was also incredible. The service is superb and it's a great alternative to fast food! I will definitely come back & will continue recommending others to come see for themselves as well.
