Big Disappointment. My salmon was overcooked and the spinach and potatoes were cold. The salmon was sitting on top of the vegetables which made my meal very soupy. I was given a table spoon for my 11 month old granddaughter's kids meal. I will not return to this location. My meal was not only disappointing, the portion was small and pricey. I've gotten better at a smaller scale establishment.

Spent my anniversary at boathouse and had the biggest pleasure to have brianna as our server!! she made us feel so celebrated let just say she has the hospitality touch

The Boathouse is a great restaurant in a nice location overlooking the James River with a beautiful view of downtown Richmond. Nicely placed outside of the city, but not too far making it an easy drive. The food was great, enjoyed the apps and had a great Rockfish dish. Would go back to have some drinks at the bar, date night, or work dinner.

Came here for the first time for my grandma's birthday, had an amazing experience. The waiter was awesome, very attentive and accommodating. The atmosphere was very good as well! We went around noon on a Sunday, it was quite, not too busy, and had a chill feeling. The food was amazing, I ordered the shrimp and grits (highly recommend) cheesy grits with; shrimp, chunks of sausage, I had the scrambled eggs with cheese, and the sauce was the money maker. Overall, fantastic experience.

My server was CeeCee and she was awesome! I like their signature oysters too and they carry a Riesling from a region in Germany I really like. 10 out of 10, I recommend!
