The Boathouse at Rocketts Landing

My first visit to The Boathouse in Richmond was nothing short of exceptional. We were seated outside on the patio, which provided a perfect view and a relaxing atmosphere. The food was incredible every dish was well-prepared and flavorful, and the drinks were just as impressive. Our waitress, Veronica, truly made the experience unforgettable. She was absolutely amazing – patient, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable. She checked on us regularly and had spot-on recommendations for everything we ordered. Her warm and welcoming personality added such a personal touch to our dining experience. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but The Boathouse exceeded my expectations. If I get the chance, I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food, drinks, and exceptional service.

We were traveling from Dallas and had the pleasure of having Veronica for our waitress! Ask for her EVERYTIME if she is available. She was very attentive, very courteous and knowledge of the menu! The food was also top tier, flavor was top tier! Will definitely be returning when visiting again.

My boyfriend and I love going to the Boathouse for Sunday Brunch however, today was a completely different vibe. After being sat for over 20 minutes, no ever came to our table to even greet or welcome us. There were all these groups coming in to the section we were at after us and all were tended to except us. Every server and it looks like even the manager kept walking by and looking down on us but never tending to my boyfriend and I, not acknowledging us, and at least assuring someone would be right with us. What made me upset is how we were getting looked at as if we aren't their problem. We decided to just go to another restaurant.

It was my birthday and had family and friends present. The evening was going great until time to close out the checks: the waitress confused the charges and the Manager intervened and that's were the craziness started. It took him 20 minutes to figure it out and ruined my special evening in the process. No apologies but smart comments as we stated our disappointment over it taking him so long to figure it out.

All staff very helpful, polite, and professional. I never had to ask for anything,,, our server took good care! Food was hot and well presented! Crap cakes were loaded with crap meat, the shrimp were big, juicy, and tender!

We had a nice table for two Outside overlooking the River. The service was excellent by our server Shamer. The Food was outstanding. Lines were short and stations were plentiful and constantly refilled. The Restaurant was obviously prepared for a Busy Day with plenty of people working together. Everyone was polite and pleasant. A Great Easter Dining experience!

We arrived at 11:00 am and had the restaurant to ourselves for about half an hour. We have been there many times when it was so loud that we could hardly talk to each other. Now we have learned to go early when it's quiet. Such a delightful difference. We sat by the window and enjoyed watching boats on the river. It was a very pleasant experience.

Had a great Christmas Eve dinner with my family. Our server CeeCee did a phenomenal job — she was on top of everything and very polite. The food and drinks were delicious. We will definitely be back!
