I was entertaining international business partners and made the recommendation for the Boathouse. While we were seated promptly, that was the highlight of the experience. I am not sure if the waiter was new but we had to constantly summon him to the table to order something, including appetizers, drinks and our meal. We celebrated our 30th anniversary there last night and it was such an awesome experience, wish I could leave 6 stars! The view was beautiful, the steak and salmon both delicious, our server Zhane was incredibly attentive, we were totally spoiled! A special thanks to Zach Deaver for his role in arranging such a sweet celebration for us!
Excellent food, atmosphere and service. My wife and I sat on the back deck overlooking the James River with a really awesome view of the downtown Richmond skyline. We both had the 3-course meal with the New England Clam Chowder, Grilled Atlantic salmon, and Crème Brûlée dessert. The crispy brussel sprouts were also amazing as an appetizer. Excellent and we will for sure be back soon!
