There are good restaurants and then there are the restaurants where you trust that everything the chef makes will be amazing. Broken Tulip is the later, I have never been disappointed by a single dish from them. Their food has influences from around the world but always comes together as a cohesive meal. Lunch and Dinner multi-course meals are a fantastic value. They have a wine selection with unique wines from around the world and are always happy to suggest the perfect pairing....
This place is very small only have three tables and bar seats during lunch time, and a big table outside seems like it’s for dinner or large partyThey only offer set menu for lunch which is $19 for two courses and $24 for 3 courses. Very cheap but with high quality food. There are 3 options on each course to choose from , rotate from time to time. I had the duck wings which is so tasty and fall off the bone. Arctic char skin is so crispy and pair with the sauce really brings...
I usually do not post reviews online but I needed to today. My husband and I had a random afternoon off so we punched in restaurant on Cary street into Google and headed here. We were pleasantly surprised. Lunch was a 2 or 3 course pre fixe meal which was lovely. Everything was delicious. Everything is seasonal with a changing menu daily. It’s a quaint little spot and we will be back.
