Google lists this venue as wheelchair accessible but the second floor is not, nor do they have wheelchair accessible bathrooms up there, and there isn’t a safe cordoned off area or platform for folks with disabilities. The staff is very helpful with making it work, but their FAQ about requesting accommodations is buried and asked that you email them without listing a contact or email address.
I've seen dozens of shows here and you can't beat the intimate setting Canal Club provides. Tickets are inexpensive and drinks are priced reasonably (at least compared to other venues I frequent)
I always prefer downstairs lounge better than upstairs. The vibes are usually dark like a speak easy. Some of the hard rock sets don't sound good coming through the speakers but The acoustic set I watched sounded amazing good.
