I've seen dozens of shows here and you can't beat the intimate setting Canal Club provides. Tickets are inexpensive and drinks are priced reasonably (at least compared to other venues I frequent)

I always prefer downstairs lounge better than upstairs. The vibes are usually dark like a speak easy. Some of the hard rock sets don't sound good coming through the speakers but The acoustic set I watched sounded amazing good.

Caught the Acacia Strain show here during the last day of a trip to the Richmond area. Venue & staff are awesome. Thanks for keeping a big guy happy with good air conditioning and cold beer.
