Came here for happy hour. They have a pretty nice selection and price for happy hour. My wife and I ended up spending over $100 not including tip, since we wanted to try everything. We each also got 3 drinks each. Food is pretty good.

There are many reasons The Hard Shell has been a Shockoe Slip staple for 30+ years. The food, service, friendliness of the service staff and managers are all first class. Took my nephew there tonight for a special occasion dinner and it could not have gone better. The raw bar items we enjoyed (crab legs and oysters) were excellent.
