I've always enjoyed my time at Meridian but lately things have taken a turn for the worse. Over the past year we've had extremely High rent increases, staff is rude over email, don't fix water leaks but will accuse and fine you over pet accidents that didn't happen. My bike was stolen from the secure bike area and I was told they do not secure bikes or have cameras there. Who else has access to the bike cage besides the staff and the other bike owners??? My car was broken into also. Do not trust them to protect your belongings. Lately they have been sending waves of emails warning residents they will be on the lookout for potential violations, perhaps because they want to extract even more money out of fines. Would be nice if things could return to how they were a year ago.

I can't believe the average review for the Meridian is so low... I have lived here for over three years and I cannot say enough great things about it! The thing I think is worth bragging about the most though is the maintenance team. I cannot rave about them enough. They are the kindest, quickest and most trustworthy group of individuals I have ever met. Same with the front desk staff! It's kind of felt like a little family with the Meridian staff after living here for so long and I can't say I have experienced that anywhere else.

They allowed a contractor to block 1 of only 2 staircases in my building with an ELECTRIC SAW. When brought to their attention, they DID NOT CARE nor did they show any remorse. They failed to notify us and did not move the saw when asked. My ADA SERVICE DOG now has to step on wood shards if I was wanting to take the staircase which is the quickest way out. DO NOT LIVE HERE.

We discovered Scoops on the go at the City Stadium. Ice cream anytime is good, but Scoops offers up very yummy soft serve (w & wout sprinkles) and hard serve in cups or cones. I chose the hard served, scooped, lemon custard and my wife wanted the Just Ask (oreos chunks, peanut butter in white chocolate ice cream). We both were happy when we finished.

They sat up their truck in Hensley Park, friendly staff cold ice cream and great prices

Moving out, the front desk employee did not know how to lock the service elevator and we had to pay hundreds of extra dollars to hire next day movers. The employee was also staring at my breasts rather than my eyes. This is a horrible horrible building with fire alarms going off every month or so in the middle of the night. Management is absolutely horrific, especially Paige. I will NEVER live here again and highly recommend you don't either.

From the very beginning the staff was unfriendly. The rental staff were engaging until I signed my lease then and were very unwilling to answer questions. The day concierge in building 2 is just as bad. I had a friend drop off a present for me at Christmas and then received a call from him telling me how rudely he was treated. Laila is the only exception, she's always kind and helpful. There is almost never any hot water between 8 am and 8 pm. If it starts out hot, it won't be by the time I fill the tub. But the worse part is the vermin. I vacuum up tiny roaches nearly everyday. I have leave my dishwasher open to air dry so they don't seek out the moisture and heat. This place is terrible. I can't wait to leave.

I have lived here for over three years. We are just about to move. I'll start with why you're not a 5 star. 1. Controlling my A/C. Omg it's still warm outside. This rule is absurd. I learned all old buildings do this. I just think it could be delayed. Especially if it's warm out so open a window but then you are awaken by those staying in the court yard till 3 am. 2. Parking why do we pay to park and have to have a sticker. It's a nickel and dime thing. Maybe someone should repaint the stripes. And have reserved area for those reserved spots have to pay. 3. Pet deposit is steep 500 and non refundable. Plus the monthly fee. No pet activities or bath zone for pets. The trash can out front has been full a lot. The good: 1. Concierge we miss Josefine and Mr. Gray. Now Marvel And Leisa amazing. Also a gentleman who used to be in Maintenance. They have stellar customer service. Hold packages for us. Large package arrived and was not an issue. 2. Rent was reduced after pandemic I think cause so many left. My husband said first time in 6 years. 3. Close to metro or bus 4. If you forget something you can always go to Mt. Suns little store for ice or dry cleaning. He's so sweet. 5. For a small space we have made the most of it. We could give lessons on storage. Haha 6. The new courtyard is so nice. Especially the rockers. I do wish the lights were on a timer. I sometimes am awaken by noise and then can't go back to sleep because of the light. I feel like it shines right at me. 7. maintenance comes quickly but our dishwasher should have been replaced awhile back. Not sure if it it really got fixed. I think it was just cleaned. 8. Housekeeping they are friendly but believe it's a new crew. 9. The apartment team that organizes events are a sweet couple. They go all out. The wine events are a nice hit. I will post some pics when I update my review.

I booked this ice cream truck 3 months in advance for a big neighborhood event. Confirmed service 2 weeks before event and kept close communication the week of the event. The evening before, I received an email saying they would be an hour late. I told them it wasn't a problem. I then received another email late that night saying they had to cancel due to a scheduling conflict. Not sure how this happened when I booked 3 months in advance! Very disappointed in this truck. It was not enough time to book another dessert truck. They are not reliable or professional! I would NOT recommend them!!

I can’t say enough about the Neighborhood Scoop and the owners, Lawson and Alfonso. My husband and I were determined to have ice cream sandwiches at our wedding reception when we were planning. Through many, many changes due to Covid, Lawson was so flexible and made sure we were able to make this happen. We ended up having a small ceremony in my hometown in Virginia, and Alfonso delivered the sandwiches to us! When we brought them out at the reception, everyone raved about how tasty they were. We even had a few left to enjoy the next day at our Honeymoon. We will definitely be back to the Neighborhood Scoop when in town!

If you have a pet do NOT move here please!! They have made it clear despite willing to take your $500 deposit and $50/month that your money is welcome but definitely not your pet. They are banned from all outside amenities and required to be "no further than 2-3 inches" from you while on a leash

I lived in the building for a little over a year and decided not to renew my lease. There were many reasons not to renew including A/C that frequently stopped working (I probably put in 3-4 maintenance requests over the 6 months before moving out) and poor customer service from the leasing office staff. They were generally unhelpful when I needed something or had a request/question. For example, I was almost always directed to another person to assist with my question/request only to be told they could not help me. The location was okay and amenities were good. But other buildings in the area have similar or nicer amenities for less $$ (one reason I moved) LOVE my new building!! COVID: some communications and info about safety/precautions sent out to residents, although safety standards were not enforced. Multiple times during COVID other residents had large groups of people yelling/not wearing masks on the roof and in elevators (such large groups that they used up all the chairs on the roof). Move out: this experience left me with a bad taste about this building. I was charged over $200 in move out charges, including carpet replacement ($180+) when there were no stains on carpet (it did need a good vacuuming). I got a bill in the mail 3 weeks after moving out and had to follow up 3 times to get more info. When I did get a response about the charges, the leasing office gave me the move out inspection and said "I should note they did not charge me to replace the stovetop"; also not damaged enough to need replacement. I left the building feeling like they had tried to pull as much money as possible from me, while giving as little as possible.
