An exceptional experience! The food: catfish, ceviche, brisket!!, grits, banana panna cotta. The drinks: all thoughtful and well developed, esp. Seersucker. The staff: fun, attentive, knowledgeable. The vibe: happy house party. Simply a treasure of a restaurant.
Visiting some friends this weekend as we are in town from the ATL area - and I must say the Roosevelt was absolutely delightful!
The ambiance was perfect. No TVs, wonderful lighting, a rustic building, lively conversations and friendly staff. I did not get our servers name but she was fabulous. Our group ordered the cornbread, deviled eggs, brussel sprouts and chilled watermelon for appetizers. Highlight for me was the deviled eggs, but all were superb.

Why was it 100 degrees in The Roosevelt? I wish I could give The Roosevelt a higher rating but it would just not be true to our experience. Booking a reservation for five was easy enough and the fact that they had a dairy free/ vegan option was one of the reasons we chose this restaurant!
