This place is such a gem!! The inside is decorated with memorabilia from parts of Richmond's past, and we had such a fun time just looking at everything on the walls and enjoying all the cool pictures. The watermelon small plate was such a refreshing start to the meal on a 100 degree day. The brisket and scallops were done perfectly, and my mouth is watering just thinking about how good they were! They had great NA cocktail options as well. I don't think you can order...
It was a Birthday Celebration! We arrived earlier than our scheduled time [30 mins] and they were still able to accommodate us without having to wait. From the cocktails to the appetizers and entrees, everything was Delish! I peronally could've eaten an entire pan of the cornbread. Let's not slight our server, William .... he was Absolutely Fantastic! Knowledgeable, patient and fun. Thank you!
This easily ranks among the best meals I've had. Familiar dishes done spectacularly. A nice cozy atmosphere and extremely attentive and knowledgeable service. The cherry on top is how reasonably priced it is. We had two appetizers, two entrees and two drinks for under $120 and had leftovers.
