The Savory Grain Reviews
The bacon wrapped scallops are wonderful. The chicken pot pie was the best I have ever had. My compliments to the Chef
We had the best time last night. Girls trip from out of town & we stumbled upon the restaurant by accident. Staff, food & drinks were fabulous & we highly recommend! “Pinkies up”
Dinner with a friend at The Savory Grain. Early reservations for two and were seated immediately. The Savory Grain offers a delightful dining experience with gourmet-level cuisine, a diverse menu, and a lively jazz brunch. Guests enjoy terrific meal options, like the goat cheese Pimento Cheese appetizer, in a cozy and charming atmosphere. The reasonably priced food, ranging from shrimp and grits to chicken and waffles, is complemented by friendly and attentive service. The restaurant is also known for accommodating dietary restrictions. Serving sizes of the entrées are generous, providing excellent value. The staff are welcoming, with engaging conversations that enhance the dining experience. The atmosphere can be lively, making it a great spot for friends or family to enjoy good food and a fun environment. However, the small size of the restaurant means tight tables, and when fully booked, the acoustics can make it hard to hear conversations, especially later in the evening. Overall, The Savory Grain remains a popular choice for the Richmond community and is considered a nice neighborhood gem.
