We just recently moved to Richmond and were very impressed with this place , I had the 2 meat cowboy plate and my wife had the three taco plate with brisket. The brisket was the best ive had in a while and I grew up in south Texas , so im pretty picky . The smoke ring was perfect and the seasoning and tenderness were on point . $20 for some lunch is crazzzzzyyy. It would have been helpful if their menu pricing was accurate. Called in a BBQ platter to go. The price online is $17. In person they charged $18. The serving of BBQ was so small (wasn't even a handful) a 6 year old would have still been hungry. Bbq was mediocre but the hard potatoes were amazing.
Incredible food. Best tacos I’ve had, full stop, having lived across the US. Very reasonable prices, good drinks (though a fairly limited selection), and fantastic service. I didn’t get my bartender’s name but he had short hair and a bit of beard, he was amazing!! Would and will drive the hour from where I live to come here.
