I was pleasantly surprised at this restaurant off the beaten path, definitely has a tavern atmosphere but the food was excellent, I ordered the pulled pork plate and it was better than advertised, very tasty and enough to fill and take some home, will definitely come back anytime I'm in the area
Went to the Tavern for some burgers because my husband was craving and it was the closest place to our doctor office. Looked over the online menu and the prices looked decent. What we got was good burgers AND a $40 bill!!!! They charged us for old fries which looked and tasted like they were heated in the microwave from lunch rush and charged us extra for the burger toppings--lettuce, tomato and mayo. We were looking for a new go-to place and we sure found it. My husband has extremely high standards for food, very hard to please, but he says the New York strip sandwich is the best sandwich he’s ever had. Drinks are strong but not too strong. Portions are massive. Something for everyone on the menu. And the staff are all friendly, it’s a super chill vibe.
