Requested to sing and evidently they are not taking anymore singers .. cool. .. and I guesss understandable .. however the degree that the Karoke host goes to wave his wands and declare “ no no no no “ Is a little over the top. The staff makes this place feel like home, not to mention their menu is basically comfort food. Friday night draws in eclectic crowds to keep you intrigued, and if that wasn't enough it's karaoke night too! This place has it all though, from various themed Saturday nights throughout the month to weekly events. So you aren't a weekender? That's cool. On Tuesdays they have game nights on one side and Bring Your Own Vinyl on the other! Trust that this place has a little bit of magic for everyone who is a part of the community. Must have went on the wrong day. I was just looking for a place to have a drink since moving back to VA. Stumbled into what I later found was a private party. I mean….instead of someone just politely letting my friends and I know(cuz we didn’t know the sign said open ?) Which I would have been fine with. I was hesitantly served after….. being ignored I guess she thought I was just gonna walk away?? and awkwardly welcomed at the same time. Maybe I’ll try again but I’m not too pressed. Maybe your crowd though.

One of the few spaces in RVA that has regular rotating events that cater to the alternative LGBT+ community. I really appreciate Cameron for everything he’s built here. I always feel welcome and safe here.
