Place was cute. Was extremely loud and overcrowded for how small the place is. Put it this way. It’s so small that our bar top table was literally right on top of a fire exit door right before the kitchen. We orders a few apps that were good. Our main course was the roasted chicken that was great and the linguine clams which was too buttery and lacked flavor. Usually you can taste the wine and garlic but I could only taste the butter. A very disappointed meal at Uliveto. We reserved a table for 6 in the Susana room for a retirement dinner for my wife with my children. They first gave away our table even though we were there 10 minutes before our reservation. Then my wife’s meal did not get delivered to the table until the rest of our party had finished their main course. Overall, it was a poor experience and while the food was decent the service was horrible.

We’ve been to this restaurant 3x since moving to Richmond last year. Every time the experience is exceptional and it’s quickly become our favorite restaurant. We’ve always had exceptional cocktails and we thoroughly enjoy the pesto specialties, the wide array of protein appetizers are always delicious, and the seafood dishes are exceptional.
