We chose the Ranch Grilled Tofu Sandwich and the Roasted Veggie and Harissa sliders. Everything about the food exudes authenticity and quality, from the fresh breads to the uniquely crafted flavors. We have been trying vegan "comfort food" at a wide range of establishments but Yummvees take their food beyond comfort to a real gastronomic experience.
Portion sizes are generous and there were enough options on the menu to make us quickly consider when we might return to Richmond and Cary Street for another Yummvees treat.
We love al fresco dining and ate at the tables in front of Yummvees, which was okay but not very atmospheric as traffic on Cary Street can be a little noisy at times.

I loved coming here tonight, it was a nice experience meeting the owner and the food was amazing!
I split the bacon cheese burger and fries with my dad and was not disappointed . Definitely wanna come back soon!

We have been going to Yumvees since they had a dine-in restaurant. The food quantity has never wavered. It doesnāt matter if you get a burger, salad or āchicken parmesanā it will be delicious. We have had everything on the menu (and things no longer on the menu). They even make their own ācheeseā. They are good people who make good great. Highly recommend.

Amazing vegan comfort food - one of my top favorites restaurants in Richmond! I have tried many things on the menu and have really liked everything. The staff is so friendly and the atmosphere is great too. I definitely recommend this place for anyone - vegan or not!

My husband and I were lucky to find this spot during a trip to Richmond. There is lots of parking and the inside of the restaurant was so pretty. There was comfortable seating indoors and outdoors. We ordered the everything board, caesar salad with fried tofu and chicken parmesan. It was all really good!! The quality of the food was amazing, everything was really well prepared. The staff was super friendly too. We will definitely come back if we are in Richmond.

Ordered vegan entrees and all 3 were great choices. Very fresh foods, imaginative, appealing presentations. Excellent service eager to accommodate specific requirements... No dairy etc.I don't live in Richmond VA, but would trust the quality of offerings enough to make it a usual go-to place. Only disappointment was the portobello mushroom dish comes only spicy and cannot be made "spice on the side".. so i opted for a beyond burger and super salad of fresh assorted greens with a delicious house vinaigrette and what looked to be handmade seasoned croutons.Their carbonated non-coca-cola cola drink in a glass bottle was actually very good!
I absolutely LOVE this place! 100% vegan but I have many omni friends who request to meet here. All of the dishes are great but the Rueben is one of my favorites. The salads are huge if you like a great big salad. I also love the Everything board. It's awesome to share with friends over cocktails if you like to drink. The staff and owners are very friendly. Iāve been to Yumvees for brunch, lunch, dinner, and dessert now and they knock it out of the park every. single. time. The food is high quality and made with so much care. They also serve large portions so you wonāt leave hungry. The non-vegan people I bring here enjoy it just as much as I do as a vegan, too! They have the kindest, most attentive staff and the restaurant is very clean with a great atmosphere. Donāt miss out on one of the finest dining experiences Richmond has to offer!

Nice clean comfy atmosphere with a cute small bar and some patio seating as well. People are really nice and attentive. The cocktails are delicious. Iāve been many times. Love the nachos, everything board and the Rueben. Everything is fresh and hot when it comes out. My favorite (not pictured) were the oyster mushroom tacos but they stopped offering those. Lots of other delicious options. Give Yummvees a try
