This is the closest I’ve had to Sicilian-style pizza since going vegan. Really good! Updated from previous review on 2026-02-01
Cashew cheese and the vegan pepperoni was excellent The kitchen can quickly get overwhelmed by walkin orders and it's a popular spot, so pick your times to go in when there won't be a meal rush
Great vegan options for someone who can’t eat pork (Muslim) and lactose intolerant! Be quick to find a seat, this place is often busy due to the delicious slices. Been here a number of times, but while I waited in line today a guest let me know to try his favorite which was “almost like a pizza pie” so I’ll try that next time!

Overall, we had an ok experience here. We ordered 3 pies, totaling over $90. Two of the pizzas came with crust that was burnt to a crisp. When we placed the order, we were told it would take 15-20 minutes, but we ended up waiting around 40 minutes. We weren’t in a rush, and it is football Sunday, but it would have been nice to know a better idea of how long we’d be waiting. The location is also very small inside, but that wasn’t too much of an issue- it’s Carytown, so that’s to be expected. The staff is very friendly. Overall, the pizza still tasted good, we just didn’t get to enjoy the crust! We may try this spot again by the slice, not sure yet.

The best pizza in Richmond, I've never been disappointed with anything they've had to offer. Their specials are creative and delicious.

2 vegan slices this evening - BBQ chicken & Pepperoni (my fave) I have not had pizza by this slice and this authentic since I became vegan. Very well done!
Used to love Zorch, but the last few times it was a soggy floppy mess. $30 for a bad pizza. Never again.
Gave it another try after a few years. Even worse than before. Burned and flavorless. Never again
Over rated, had ordered two large pies the under carriage on both pies burned as if someone forgot it was in the oven. This was take out. Called to complain just keep getting a recording. I live a hour away just passing through when I bought the pies
best pizza in Richmond

Great spot in carytown! So many pizza options to choose from. Everything we got was delicious! Service was super quick. Staff were very friendly. Small pizza shop so if you have a big group, you should probably order to go. This place is suitable for groups of 3, max. Still a must try if you’re looking for a pizza spot in Richmond!!
It may only be open 4/5 hours a day but it’s the best pizza I’ve ever had. Hands downdown.
To the man at the register who was nice to my picky vegetarian dad, the vegan slice tasted great 😂
We just moved back to Richmond from New England and have been searching in vain for good pizza until now. Zorch is the winner by a mile!
A bit overrated compared to Belmont Pizza and Mary Angela's.
