“As we all know, HYCO Lake flooded and I was down there doing some cleanup work and was exhausted and wanted to grab me a delicious pizza before I went home. I swung in sat down. They had a wonderful buffet, but I chose to take a pizza home with me instead, so I ordered a pepperoni pizza. It was prepared and probably 15 to 18 minutes and it was excellent. I wanted to share the picture of the first slice by God it was delicious. Unfortunately it won’t let me share the picture or I don’t know how but I can tell you when I pulled that pizza off of the aluminum pie tray to my plate. There was 40 strings of cheese coming all the way from the pizza all the way to my plate it was amazing.”

“I’ve spent a lot of time on the border, growing up and living Texas for 45 years. This place is AMAZING. I would put it in the top five Mexican food restaurants I’ve eaten at in my life. The perfect combination of authentic ingredients and menu items. I was very surprised to find this gem in Virginia.”

The universe tried to curtail our Christmas event for Milltown Saloon & Spirits but Richard went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect along with Davis being the absolute best. “We don't get to Danville too often, but when we do, Crema and Vine is a mandatory destination. We discovered this fantastic place several years ago and have been absolutely awed by the outstanding food and the service. Perhaps the most noteworthy aspect of Crema and Vine is that it is a family run business, which we always try to support, and have for years. The owners, Steve and Angela truly care about their customers and we feel like family when we are there. May they continue to operate Crema and Vine for many years as the outstanding place it is.”

“This place has some of the best cheeseburgers and hotdogs along with bbq. Im sure there’s other good things but im stuck on them 3 items lol. Crinkle cut fries are good too but if you like your fries with a crisp like me then make sure you tell them extra crispy because they come a little on the soft side at regular order. Milkshakes are also good and im more vanilla but my wife likes the pumpkin shake. This place does get packed at times but it’s worth it if you can get a seat.”

Me and my sister went to eat there today and what we had was amazing Grilled Chicken Hawaiian is what was so delicious and we decided to split the food glad we did it was plenty for both of us. The restaurant clean and people working there was so nice and friendly. I will be going back for sure. It makes a difference when people care what they service. The guacamole was so wonderful best I ever had. Rating this restaurant 10+.”

“2/1/24 My first visit: I took my family to Captain Cook's to celebrate my father's birthday. It was a party of 13. The place was very clean and spacious! The hosts acknowledged us as soon as we walked in, and our table was available immediately! When we got to our table, I felt the air from the ceiling fan, and before I could say anything, the host already knew and turned off the fan! She was paying attention! Wow! 😊 Our waitress was very pleasant and personable, listened carefully to our requests, and was quickly accommodating. It was like she was reading our minds. And the food???? FRESH, HOT, and DELICIOUS! To end the evening, the price was great for the quality and quantity of food we received! We were comfortable and didn't feel rushed! Thanks to the entire Captain Cook's Staff for a great dining experience to celebrate my father's birthday. I will visit again when I'm in town! 5/5 💥”

“I stopped by at 5:45pm, 15 minutes before they closed. I met the Owner, she was the nicest Lady. Very welcoming, asked me where I was from. First time we met but she made me feel welcomed. I love sweets so I did get the strawberry crunch cake, Oreo cupcake and 3 chocolate chip cookies. I did try a little of each. It was amazing. I highly recommend. I will definitely be back soon.”
