We had a delicious dinner. All the food was fresh, hot, and flavorful. Our server was spectacular and very attentive to details. We were very pleased by our experience.
Food portions are not great for the price - especially on a salad. The salmon was pitiful, raise the price or fix the portions:. It's just not great anymore.
I don’t believe I have ever had a dining experience like we just did at 419 west. Made reservations for dad’s 85th birthday.. started with giving us a legit plastic table to sit at— mind you again we had a reservation. We had to ask 3x for dad’s sweet tea.. we ordered 3 apps and our chips/nachos had a hair in it— so we sent it back… I ordered the crab cakes, again a hair in it, sent it back- and also told them nevermind to keep it as their management had no customer service skills at all.. our son ordered a burger— wait for it another hair in it.. at this point my husband took it up to the kitchen as management had already dismissed us and said we would talk once our dinner was done.. my husband was informed we planted the hair ourselves and my brother told them to to keep his as he had already been waiting almost 10 mins for his food and his had not come. My brother was told that we could just leave.. a waitress came over and spoke to us, she actually listened but then the manager just brought the bill, she told him to walk away and instead he thought it was a great idea to get nose to nose with our son… absolutely absurd, uncalled for. Saddest part is this was for dad’s birthday.
I ordered their Ehite Chicken Chili and when it was brought to me the soup was running down the side of the bowl like someone had rushed putting it in. They were not that busy so for a high end restaurant I would expect better. My wife ordered water and the glass was dirty. Again not expecting that at a high end restaurant.
I made this reservation with 419 Restaurant the week before Thanksgiving. I requested a Thanksgiving Dinner reservation for four people at 2 pm. When we arrived at the restaurant, I was told that the reservation was for Friday, the day AFTER Thanksgiving, 2 pm. The manager was called and he stated the reservation was for the following day. I asked him if they were serving Thanksgiving Dinner on that day. He just stared at me. When I asked if they would accept our money, he stated they were "all mapped out already". No accommodation, no apology, no sympathy. He just turned and walked away. Needless to say I will not patronize this place again.
We had one of the last seating. The service was rush due to cleaning. The food was cold and not very good. I could go on and on but we learned a holiday lesson.
Wife and I had Thanksgiving dinner. Menu a little confusing. I wanted different side dishes than my wife, Waitress said we both had to order the same side dishes, Nothing on menu seemed to suggest that. We ate our salads and were told we had to hold onto our knife and fork while she went to get the main meal. Maybe it's just me but I thought the nicer restaurants provided a salad fork. A spoon was not provided until waitress brought pecan pie. Who eats pecan pie with a spoon? Waitress was very attentive. I just wished she had not called me "baby" so much. She did not mean anything by it. Maybe it was just her way of trying to please us. My slice of pie was normal size, but my wife's pie was just a sliver. Waitress took it back and gave her another piece. All in all everything was fine. I guess I was expecting a little more. By the way, I did give the waitress a 20% tip.
Service was okay, but the food was cold, even after being sent back twice. The steaks ordered medium well, came out very pink and bloody. Waited 20 mins to be seated with reservations. First time I had experienced these issues at this place, to top it off they did not have many people seated in the restaurant. The people beside us, told us not to order lobster tail, because they to had to send theirs back twice.
Met a couple of friends here for lunch; nice that they have booths in a not-so-noisy dining room so we could more easily talk. Had the Cobb Salad; nice that the food I was served matched the description and price listed on their website menu. It was fresh and tasty; nothing special. Note that unlike many Cobb salads elsewhere, the version served herd is absent corn, guac, and salsa.
My husband's pizza crust was completely black on the bottom, kitchen should be ashamed that they served this, I know the waitress didnt see it at first but when we ate only the toppings and turned the crust over, she should have said something...we should have said something at the time but the restaurant was busy and we were with other people so we didnt have time to reorder.

Good variety on menu. I was able to get a hamburger without bun (keto diet). Satvin covered patio.

Last night my family and I ate here. The food was mediocre at best. I ordered sweet corn and crab bisque. The soup was luke warm and salty. My husband had salmon with mash potatoes and zucchini. The mash potatoes and zucchini was cold when he received it. The service was exceptional.
