Great little mom and pop restaurant that's been around for 70 odd years. Had the 1/4 pd hamburger and it was really good and quite large. They're sweet tea is really good, reminds me of the sun tea my dad used to make growing up. The deco on the interior looks like it's been there since the restaurant opened in 1948, and I like that. The server was the third generation Aesy.
Immediately greeted by two very kind people from behind the counter. I'm assuming they are the owners. Nice clean diner style place. Simple comfort food menu. Delicious breakfast -- we ordered eggs, bacon and toast to go. I'll definitely return to try a lunch item, probably a cheeseburger FYI the veggie boxes on the seats are to keep your tootsie from getting cold LOL!.
I've eaten both Breakfast and Lunch here and have been pleased. The place is clean and both Mom & Pop Aesy (Not sure if that's their names) are both kind. As a matter of fact i'm ordering breakfast now.
