As always, our night at Alexander's was wonderful! The food is always divine, and the service is simply the best. So many reasons to keep coming back to our favorite restaurant!
One of the joys of moving to Roanoke eleven years ago has been the discovery of so many wonderful restaurants. We now have a new favorite: Alexander's. The dining room is arranged so that you can be sitting next to a table full of diners and you can feel almost alone in the room. We were sitting across from a huge painting that occupied our conversation, even as a poster of my favorite painting could be seen across the room. And the FOOD. My husband had a delectable rabbit...
We had not been to Alexanders for a while because we usually make last minute decisions. On a cold, wintry night, the ambiance, temperature and food were warm and welcoming. Everything was excellent. Learned about a new vineyard, Digwood and Thistle whose development we'll follow.
