On the final leg of our sojourn around the Eastern Seaboard, we decided to try the highly rated Frankie Rowland's Steakhouse in ancient Roanoke, VA. Upon recommendation, we attended a dinner service on a Saturday night. We started with the wedge and caesar salads. The wedge was amazing but the caesar wasn’t that great. We then had the 10oz filet. It was the best steak we have ever had. The seasoning was amazing and it was cooked to perfection. We also had the Brussels sprouts and the mushrooms for sides. They were also amazing. The front dining room has a lot of ambiance with pretty lighting, and guests are advised to ask to be seated there. The stuffed mushrooms, filet, and Brussels sprouts have also received praise, and the service is described as impeccable.
