This place was absolutely amazing and the staff was immaculate! Sarah was our waitress and she by far was the greatest. The food was beyond delicious and well worth the money. The atmosphere very upscale. I will definitely be back !!

Okay food though way overpriced. Seating area was way too loud for comfortable conversation at a four-person table. Main entrees arrived at different times for all diners. Service was good except for the food arriving at different times. Will go back as long as somebody else is paying, but would not otherwise go again.

My husband and I were looking forward to dining at Frankie Rowland's for the first time and arrived hungry and ready to be wowed. We were seated almost right on top of two women whose pretentious, obnoxious conversation made it impossible for my husband and I to converse, but we tried to overlook it and remain optimistic. Our appetizer, 3 very over-priced sea scallops, ended up being the only thing we enjoyed about the entire meal. The Caesar salad was a joke...basically a large pile of chopped lettuce with a hint of dressing mixed in. We only managed a few bites of it. The buttermilk battered onion rings were unimpressive, and so stuck together that each time we tried to remove one, the batter came off and the ranch dressing was tasteless. The Chilean sea bass I was so looking forward to was overcooked and drowned in an overpowering sauce. My husband's 20 ounce "Certified Angus" ribeye was OVERLY seasoned and extremely salty. Although he ordered it medium rare, it was barely cooked and cold in the center, not to mention tough and stringy. We took the leftover sea bass (over half of the portion) and the steak (three quarters of) home to see what our two boys thought of it. They weren't impressed either, but our German Shepherds didn't complain. AND, to add insult to injury, after paying $200+ for a meal that we could barely stomach, my husband ended up with severe food poisoning. Next time we want a good meal, I'll be the chef, or we'll be making reservations at Coach and Four where we've NEVER been let down in over 13 years of visiting.

Service has tanked. I’ve been coming here for over a decade and it’s always been on point. The last time we went the waiter looked like he’d rather be doing anything other than being at work. Today we sat in the bar and left after being ignored for 15 minutes.

Hands down the worse steakhouse I've been to. Felt like I paid big money for food poisoning. Literally was up all night pooping my guts out throwing up. Will never be back ever!! Took the rest home to the dogs they even had a hard time eating it! Definitely two thumbs down...

My wife and I enjoyed excellent customer service and outstanding food. I ordered the lamb chops and my wife ordered the seafood trio with a Parmesan cognac sauce. Everything was prepared perfectly and the staff were outstanding, polite and knowledgeable. We had a great evening at Frankie Rowland's.

Last weekend I went to Frankie’s to eat and it’s Fantastic!!! I couldn’t be happier with my experience from the excellent cocktails to the friendly staff to the top notch food!! As far as I’m concerned that’s the pace to eat in downtown Roanoke!!! Will go there every time I’m there!!!

From the first drink at the bar to our after dinner drink at the bar again, everything was outstanding. Started with the pineapple martini before dinner, delicious! My husband and I shared the filet, salad, baked potato and Brussels sprouts. The salad with green goddess dressing was delicious. The filet was one of the best steaks I have ever had! Baked potato and Brussels sprouts were excellent. Not a crumb left behind! The waitstaff outstanding, especially Kennedy who was very helpful and pleasant to talk to. Bartenders were very friendly and great with the drinks as well. The Reese-a-Tini was a great after dinner drink. We are from out of town but would jump at the opportunity to eat here again!

The steak was better than Peter Lugars in Manhattan and sparks steak house as well. It was the porter house for 2 and was perfectly cooked and seasoned. We were pleasantly surprised in Roanoke Va. we have also been to Ruth Chris steak house in LA and Lawrys. This beat them all!

We arrived a little early for our reservation and enjoyed a specialty cocktail before being seated. We were lucky enough to get a table with a little seclusion which was perfect for a romantic dinner. Our server, John, was so nice and went above and beyond to make our anniversary dinner more special.

The service was great and it was a lovely restaurant. However, the food was exorbitantly salty. Our server did warn us the the steaks come with a thick seasoning crust, however the amount of salt was just overbearing and hard to stomach. I got the Chilean Sea Bass and even that had a ton of salt on it. For the cost, it was quite a disappointment and I think this will be a one time experience for us.
