Got takeout last night and was greatly disappointed. Everything but the salad was WAAAY oversalted. The gyro platter with lemon potatoes was just mounds of salt. My lips and tongue are still burning. The meatball appetizer likewise. The zucchini appetizer was heavily breaded and salted. When you cannot taste the lemon in the potatoes and the flavorings in the meats and sides because of such overwhelmingly too much salt I have to say "Put down the salt shaker!!"

Wow! Some of the best food I've ever had of any cuisine. Staff was quick, attentive, and fun. Prices were reasonable as well. Pretty sure that checks off all the boxes and absolutely sure we'll be back.Vegetarian options: Definitely enough vegetarian options. Not a lot, but plenty and you won't go wrong.

I've been several times. They've hired some young ladies on staff. Service could have been better (more attentive, friendly).Example: She came to take our order but just came to the edge of the table and raised her tablet and pen. I had ask her if she was there to take our order (we weren't ready).It was an odd experience ?

Moved here from Pittsburgh and was craving some good Greek food. I had worked in a Greek restaurant in Pittsburgh, and can say that although I'm not Greek, I'm a bit of a snob about authentic foods. This place blew me out of the water! The lemon chicken soup was amazing, and the pastisio is the best I've ever had. (Sorry to my former bosses.) Everything is perfectly seasoning and an array of flavors danced on my taste buds. Definitely an 11 out of 10. A must have in Roanoke.
A great place to experience Greek food in the local Virginia Area! The service was attentive and friendly. I will say it's a bit pricey but then again what isn't nowadays ?. Would definitely come back here again.

One of my favorites in Roanoke. The staff is on point. They are always pleasant and professional. The Establishment is always clean. The food is tasty and the portions are ample. Incredibly friendly staff. And after lunch or dinner. Nice beer and wine selection and incredibly good Greek coffee....Dino
I am more than pleased with Athens Corner & Grill. I was passing through Roanoke for work when I decided to stop here. I walked in and was instantly greeted with smiles, the atmosphere was amazing. I ordered a Gyro with fries. This place is ran by genuine people.I Informed a man that took my order that I was a bit wore out from work and that I have to get back on the road to head to Kansas City. Knowing I had a long way to drive, he threw in a free cookie for the road. Now I can start my drive with joy in my heart❤️. Highly recommend this place, Food was amazing but that was only a plus ?

From the fried green tomatoes to the meat lovers gyro, the bbq gyro and the fries, our food was served fast and hot. It was all very fresh and flavorful. Definitely want to go back to try other dishes.
