Billy's is a favorite. Not sure why there always seems to be a bit of confusion checking in on a reservation..if there is a special request like the complicated ”please give me a window seat”... and there are plenty of window seats I still had to negotiate getting one of them! I do recommend Billy's great food, great wine, great service...but it can be a little loud.

The building itself is very cool, older architecture and nice bar. The hostess was lovely with some very unique makeup and dress. The service was really slow but once our group got our orders in, good food and a very nice server. We are visiting Va and he gave us all kinds of tips on places to go.

Went to Billys for my wife's birthday. Hailey was our waitress, and she did a great job. Food was great. Enjoyed the lamp lollipops. Billys is one of our favorite restaurants.

We've been to Billy's several times on our way to SC and on our way back home to NH. This restaurant is very consistent. The corn and crab bisque is not to be missed. Absolutely delicious! We also love the lobster mac and cheese. So good. Top shelf restaurant!

The tomato soup was brown and the texture was coarse. The server was not friendly and did not report to the manager that I returned the soup.

Absolutely, hands down one of the best restaurants I have had the pleasure of dining in. From the very friendly and helpful staff to one of the cleanest restaurants I have seen. While in town on October 24th and the 25th, had dinner on Friday and was so impressed, I had to go back Saturday before leaving. Needless to say, when I return to Roanoke I will be staying in the same location to only have this restaurant 3 blocks away.
Wonderful anniversary dinner with fantastic staff who are extremely knowledge about the menu and offerings. They were extremely kind and left a sweet note congratulating my husband I anniversary. 10/10 will be back again!

The martini was really small but the price was okay I guess. The service was excellent. The bacon appetizer was outstanding, the mahimahi was pretty good, we asked for an end cap of the prime rib but did not get it, and overall it seemed like it was a little too expensive for what we got but it was okay. Would I go back? Probably not.

My daughter and I came for dinner on our way through Roanoke. It's her favorite restaurant and she always gets the braised lamb shank. As usual, it was excellent. I ordered the halibut and it was perfectly cooked. Service was great, too.
