We made reservations for restaurant week. We were placed in the back room with a large party and seated next to curtains that were cumbersome. Our server was okay but nothing to brag about. The food was great, however, the salmon was undercooked in the center. We will visit again and try something else for sure. The menu for restaurant week was great and at a good price. We will make reservations again next year!

Once again, your restaurant did not disappoint! Brought a friend, who had not dined there, and he enjoyed it, too! The food and service were outstanding!

Great experience once again. Food was exquisite. Waitress was best we have had in our many visits. Highly recommend.

Every year Billy's participates in Downtown Roanoke Restaurant Week at the end of January (which runs from Friday until the following Sunday = 10 days) and every year there's an issue with them running out of food; sometimes even on the first or second night. The best deal, and what most people go for (especially in my group), is the prime rib. They're also known for their Limoncello Cake as part of their DRRW preset menu (an appetizer/salad, entree, and dessert). Every year they run out of prime rib and more often than not, the Limoncello Cake. Billy's is a staple of the Roanoke Valley and definitely has a cult following. However, I really feel like they do their establishment and its patrons a disservice when they can never seem to order enough food of the top item(s) in which they sell the most of and are semi-famous for. DRRW is a way to get people out of the house in January, after the hustle and bustle of the holidays, and draw people to downtown Roanoke eateries (most of which, who participate, are high-end establishments), and offer deals (or a value) on three course (or multi-tiered) dinners (and lunches). Billy's needs to step-up their game when it comes to their participation in DRRW going forward. My friend group loved Billy's and we do eat there a good bit throughout the year, but, at this point, we may consider removing them from our DRRW list in the future if they can't offer the food they advertise as part of their special menu. Side note and another unfortunate disservice: you don't know they're out of Prime Rib or Limoncello Cake until you've already dry committed to a reservation and seated. That's when the server is tasked with the difficult duty of informing their customers they're out of food or that there may be a limited quantity and only certain people may be able to order these items. Yes, that's happened before, too). The eight of us who dined there this past Thursday were highly impressed by Savannah, she's terrific! Thanks!

Went for lunch - food was just okay. Lunch for 2 adults and one child was $70 with no alcohol. We had 2 salads, 2 soups - wasn't great and too expensive.

Great Food and Atmosphere. Oysters were fresh and delicious and all of entree's were excellent! Lamb Shank, NY Strip, Crab Cakes, Short Ribs, with great cocktails to boot!

Very good steak, a tad under how I asked it to be cooked. Great choice of bourbons. Overall nice ambiance.

Billy's is a favorite. Not sure why there always seems to be a bit of confusion checking in on a reservation..if there is a special request like the complicated ”please give me a window seat”... and there are plenty of window seats I still had to negotiate getting one of them! I do recommend Billy's great food, great wine, great service...but it can be a little loud.

The building itself is very cool, older architecture and nice bar. The hostess was lovely with some very unique makeup and dress. The service was really slow but once our group got our orders in, good food and a very nice server. We are visiting Va and he gave us all kinds of tips on places to go.

Went to Billys for my wife's birthday. Hailey was our waitress, and she did a great job. Food was great. Enjoyed the lamp lollipops. Billys is one of our favorite restaurants.

Always a treat to dine at Billy's with consistently great food and drinks. And, the best trained servers in Roanoke. So nice to feel the staff is there to serve you and they do a fantastic job.

We've been to Billy's several times on our way to SC and on our way back home to NH. This restaurant is very consistent. The corn and crab bisque is not to be missed. Absolutely delicious! We also love the lobster mac and cheese. So good. Top shelf restaurant!

Great food, amazing service. We were a group of 11 and our server was amazing. She made our daughter's going away brunch extra special. Thank you Ashlyn G for being so attentive, fun and the best server ever.

The tomato soup was brown and the texture was coarse. The server was not friendly and did not report to the manager that I returned the soup.

Absolutely, hands down one of the best restaurants I have had the pleasure of dining in. From the very friendly and helpful staff to one of the cleanest restaurants I have seen. While in town on October 24th and the 25th, had dinner on Friday and was so impressed, I had to go back Saturday before leaving. Needless to say, when I return to Roanoke I will be staying in the same location to only have this restaurant 3 blocks away.
