Not a bad place to eat, but was expecting more. Avo on toast with scrambled egg was well below standard, with avo that was thinly applied and likely a store purchased avacado emulsion. Eggs were dry and closer to omelette than scrambled. French dip was better but nothing to scream about. Staff were efficiently friendly. Venue has the potential to be something special, but just didn’t shine the day were there and put in the back corner. Would have given 4 stars but couldn’t with the avacado dish being so port.

Excellent meal, great service. I had the crabcakes, which were very good. Started with calamari, which was great.

This place is awesome! Our server was so sweet and friendly ! I got the ritz cocktail and it was light and tasty , calamari was delicious as always with the light batter and awesome sauce with it ! I always get my favorite lamb shank , it was incredible, Fall off the bone lamb and so delightful! And then for the dessert the crème brûlée ! The atmosphere is romantic and upscale ! I always feel special here. Thank you Billys!

I have been a big fan of brunch at Billy’s for several years, but after today’s experience, I likely won’t be back. The candied bacon was ice cold and covered in an unappealing, goopy blueberry sauce. None of the food we ordered was even warm, most of the food was made incorrectly, and one of the omelettes had hair in it. The manager was very kind and helpful but otherwise the experience was incredibly disappointing.

Early reservation- place was 1/4 full- 5 pm on a Saturday. After hearing this place as great we were let down. Slightly dingy, dirty table, needs an overall sprucing up. Service was dawdling- no plates with shared app. Bread plates were then cleared and not replaced when bread came. Meal was ordinary- veggies overcooked- pedestrian. Many other choices in Roanoke- pick them.

The staff makes this place golden. Top tier. Top notch. Top quality. May Billy's live on forever.

Terrible service, terrible food. Argumentative and inattentive staff from entry to exit. Stay away.

The food was very good. Not overdone, subtly seasoned, paired well. The quality of the food lived up to the price. The service was excellent. Quality service the whole meal; we were well taken care of.The atmosphere was lacking. There were far too many tables which made the volume of the restaurant too high to have a nice conversation. It was busy like eating at Applebee’s at dinner on a weekend. We were also seated right next to a hallway of some sort. Constant wait staff walking past our table; you shouldn’t seat people there at all.We might go back, but there are several other places in Roanoke with a better atmosphere for an intimate date, especially for the price.

I hate leaving bad reviews. Went for the Sunday brunch and it wasn't busy. Didn't see the waitress very much. Got the salmon salad. It was later than everyone elses food at my table and was literally a handful of romaine, three cherry tomatoes and some slivers of red onion. I figured "whatever" and stirred it up, not paying attention and was eating... thinking "man this salmon tastes weird". I looked down and it wasn't cooked. It was seared, which is not appropriate for salmon. I waited for the waitress to come back and ask how everything was so I could request to have it cooked, but I didn't see her until she brought the checks. At that point, I figured whatever and just paid and left to run to Kroger and actually have food to eat.

Overpriced poor quality. Went there for wedding anniversary and won’t go back. Young lady at the front door seemed like she didn’t want to be there. Had a reservation but had to wait a few minutes - no big deal but sat in the lobby near the managers office which kept the door open so we got to hear all about a problem table that “was only $150 tab”. The $45 “cowboy” steak was a thin piece of gristle and fat. Longhorn and literally any other steak place has a better steak. And, they laid the steak on top of the mashed potatoes and asparagus. Tip: use two plates. Potatoes and asparagus were very good. The house salad was again, overpriced for the very small amount you get. And was really just bagged lettuce with not much else on it. My wife had the prime rib which was good but again, very thin. Rolls were good. Service was decent but not exceptional (wife ran out of tea and had to ask for refills). All in all, not impressed.
